Some of the Best Nitro Advice

You probably already own an Rc car with some type of glow engine, regardless of the size. My first advice is that the best fuel you can buy for a car/truck, buggy, etc, is 12% oil content, and 20% nitro. (I personally always used Torco race fuels, and never had any problems). The Nitro content can vary, as long as you maintain a 12% oil. This formula provides a long lasting lubricant, that doesn't impede performance.
If you are thinking about buying a FM/AM remote, let me stop you there. My friends have all gone through them at a ridiculous pace, either because the vibrations caused damage to the receiver, or because of terrible remotes, or a lot of interference. Save yourself the hassle and buy a 2.4 Ghz radio. I prefer Spektrum, some prefer the Futaba 2pk, etc. It doesn't matter, as they all do the same: Lock into a channel and ignore all other incoming transmissions. There are even some that switch to better frequencies constantly, but I'll leave that up to you.
If you have the choice between pull start, spin start(Or rotostart) and bump start, I would advise picking the reliable pull start, or if you don't mind dealing with the batteries, the Bump starter(if applicable).
Always look the vehicle you want online first, to see if the parts you want, or need, or may need in order to fix anything, are readily available; If they aren't, the vehicle could be on its way to being discontinued, which means the parts list will soon follow.
If you purchase a vehicle with RPM Racing capable parts, I would advise getting them either right away, or as soon as you break something(the common RPM parts are the A Arms). They are fairly cheap, and they have a lifetime guarantee. I've owned several vehicles, and I've never had an RPM A Arm break on me.
Some of the best glow plugs you can buy are ODonnell plugs, or McCoy plugs, they make your engine scream.
To save some time I would invest in a Hobby allen key screwdriver set, as they are one of the best tools to have by your side. They come either seperate, or in a set, usually a full set(1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm) or 0.05", 1/32, 1/16 and 1/8 I believe, will run you about 30 dollars, or 40 dollars if purchased seperately. I Highly recommend the Dynamite set of allen key screwdrivers, or the Caster Racing ones, I've never snapped either tips off.
