The Nitro RC X shop has only been on the scene since 2005, so I was a bit skeptical at first but as you can probably tell, I am now a huge fan of theirs. However, they aren't the only option out there. :-) One of my old favorites, Hobbytron, also offers some nice complete package deals on the CEN Racing kits, which is also popular with beginners albeit a bit more expensive than what you can expect at Nitro RC X. Beware though, I hear that Hobbytron's customer service isn't what it used to be and their focus is now more on other hobby products like paintball, airsoft stuff, helicopters, and planes.

For those serious racers out there, you can't go wrong with Amain Hobbies. Their sheer number of spare parts and accessories for the higher quality more expensive kits cannot be beat. You can also head over and check out the many various Ebay RC Shops to compare prices at other rc hobby stores.
